Set up in 1981 by Maestro Giuseppe Lanzetta, its current permanent director, with the aim of familiarising the public with its repertoire of symphonic and chamber music, the orchestra has acquired national and international renown over the years thanks to its numerous concerts in some of Italy’s most important institutions of music and to various tours abroad.
